Questions to Ask a Tuition Centre Before You Sign Up
Ask about class size, the term fee and what it covers, whether lessons follow the current PSLE format (SEAB revised Maths and Science for 2026), who teaches the class, whether there is a trial lesson, how missed lessons are made up, how progress is reported, and the notice needed to stop.
Decision guideTuition Centre or Home Tuition? How Singapore Parents Decide
A tuition centre gives a class, a fixed timetable and a structured course; home tuition gives one-to-one attention at a time and place that suit you. Published 2026 rates for primary home tuition run from about S$25 to S$40 an hour (part-time tutor) to S$55 to S$90 (school teacher); centres set their own term fees.
